insolence is worthwhile if you're up for trans-earth purgatory
pores emptying fragments of a future unfounded
platter dripping on a screen door
this is an interruption of gratitude
it's a showcase of squalor and waste
fighting the undercurrent that it subliminally summoned
and left to rot on the shores of pestilence
